Hacker's HakhelCon

JSEC's inaugural Cyber Security Conference

JSEC (Jews in Cyber Security) is a grassroots group of information security professionals, students, and enthusiasts sharing information and hosting meetups. JSEC aims to help our respective communities break into and progress further within the information security industry.

The JSEC will be hosting our inaugural annual conference in Brooklyn, NY, dubbed “Hackers HakhelCon,” named after the year of Hakhel or “gathering,” a septennial reunion in the times of the Jerusalem Temple. In the spirit of unity and gathering, we will use this conference to learn, and propel each other forward. The conference sessions include a lineup of roundtable discussions, technical security talks, and a CISO panel with exceptional industry veterans sharing their experience, wisdom, and vision for the future of the industry, and hard-learned lessons of the past.

The conference will have a strong focus on networking for those looking to make their first foothold in the information security industry.
